About Us
Our Mission
At Galaxy Exhibitions, we see art as a language—one that teaches, connects, and inspires.
Our story began on October 27, 2007, when our founder purchased Les
Amoureux by Frankétienne at an art fundraiser organized by Marie Alice
Théard to support an artist’s surgery in Cuba. That moment sparked a
lasting passion for Haitian art and the artists behind it.

Today, as Haiti’s landscape continues to change, many talented artists have been forced to leave their homeland for countries such as Canada, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Chile. Through Galaxy Exhibitions, we work directly with more than sixteen Haitian artists, purchasing and promoting their work to ensure fair compensation and sustainable income for them and their families.

Beyond commerce, our gallery embraces a social mission—using art as a tool for awareness and empowerment. We engage in initiatives that address issues such as Domestic Violence Prevention and STD/HIV education, reflecting our broader commitment to communities facing poverty, inequality, and linguistic barriers.
Every exhibition we curate is an opportunity to share the stories behind Haitian art in a way
that feels personal and meaningful. We want visitors not only to see the beauty of each
piece but to understand the history, resilience, and culture it carries.
Through our exhibits, artist talks, and community events, we create spaces where people
can learn, ask questions, and feel connected to Haiti’s rich artistic legacy. Our goal is to
make Haitian art accessible and educational for everyone—whether you’re discovering it for
the first time or reconnecting with the roots that shaped you.
